Italy Acceptance Materials

Important information regarding the acceptance materials for Italy programs:

1. The first box of forms in the Acceptance Packet Checklist are to be returned to the Study Abroad Office at Broome Community College within 10 days of receipt or by the given deadline. The summer 2010 application deadline is March 15th, 2010. The Spring 2010  application deadline is October 1st , 2009
2. The Study Abroad Acceptance Reply Form needs to have the program deposit with it. (Cashier’s check made payable to Broome Community College).
3. DO NOT list courses on the BCC Student Registration Form! Only fill out the information at the top and sign the bottom.
4. There is a fee ($800) for any “Extra Course” you sign up for on the LdM Course Registration form. Do not fill in the “Extra Course” section (at the bottom) unless you intend to pay $800 for that extra course.
5. Housing deposits are to be in the form of a Cashier’s Check for the amount indicated in the Housing Booklets.
6. Florence students make their Housing Deposits payable to “Lorenzo de’ Medici S.R.L.”
7. Rome students need to pay for housing in full before registering for classes.
8. The Waiver/Release Agreement needs to be notarized and sent back to Broome Community College.
9. The Medical Report Form requires you to make a doctor’s appointment and have your doctor fill out the form and sign it.
10. The Financial Aid Agreement form needs to be notarized.
